BRIDGING HUNGER
OUR MISSION:
We are committed to addressing hunger in our community by providing nutritious, hot meals and supplemental groceries.
MEAL PROGRAM:
*Hot lunches are served Tues, Thur and Fri at 11am
*Hot dinner available Friday at 6pm
*Hot breakfast available Sunday 9am at Simple Simons Pizza in Sallisaw, Oklahoma
GROCERY SUPPORT:
We distribute grocery bags to the general public twice a week (Thur-2pm, Friday-6p) to ensure ongoing access to essential food items. Emergency service for groceries is available on a case by case basis.
FILL THE HOUSE
Participants who are transitioning out of homelessness or recovering from natural disasters are invited to visit our "Fill the House" department. This dedicated space offers a selection of household items, to help individuals rebuild and restore their living environment with dignity and ease.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our efforts to engage and serve the community are rooted in our mission to share the Gospel. We strive to raise awareness by mowing lawns for the disabled and elderly, visiting the sick and/or those in a hospital/nursing home, going to local neighborhoods and homes for bible studies, and building meaningful relationships through direct interaction with various individuals. We believe this is in obedience to Gods command to love your neighbor.
Residential Deposit Program
We are so excited to introduce the Residential Deposit Program!
This program is designed to help working individuals make the critical transition from homelessness to stable housing.
To qualify, participants must meet the following requirements:
*Be employed for six months
*Maintain six months of sobriety
*Complete 25 hours of community service
*Attend one Bible study per week
*Have at least $200 in personal savings
In return, we'll provide up to $400 toward a rental deposit or first month's rent to help launch the next chapter of their journey.

SONSZ BUCKS
The SONSZ Buck program is designed to empower participants through a meaningful reward system. By completing tasks, meeting goals, or engaging in positive activities, individuals can earn SONSZ Bucks--our custom currency.
DISCIPLESHIP
In reverence to Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19, we take discipleship seriously. We have partnered with Steadfast365 and the One Year Bible--meeting weekly to study God's Word together, encouraging individuals to grow spiritually as well as equipping them to feed themselves spiritually instead of being solely dependent on the teaching of a leader. We absolutely love seeing God reveal Himself through His Word.
JOB TRAINING
We partner with SCSEP, a community service and work-based job training program designed for older adults. SCSEP serves as a bridge to unsubsidized employment opportunities, helping participants gain purpose, build confidence, and re-enter the workforce--especially those who may face challenges being hired otherwise.
